What defines the Channel of Openness?

It joins Gate 12, Caution in the Throat center with Gate 22, Openness in the Solar Plexus center. When both gates are active in a chart, from either side (personality or design), the whole channel defines, and with it both centers: Defined Throat: consistent access to voice and manifestation. What is it like to have the Channel of Openness defined?
