What defines the Channel of Judgment?

It joins Gate 18, Correction in the Spleen center with Gate 58, Vitality in the Root center. When both gates are active in a chart, from either side (personality or design), the whole channel defines, and with it both centers: Defined Spleen: steady intuition and an instinct for wellbeing. Defined Root: consistent pressure-handling.

What if only one gate is active?

With only one gate active, you carry that gate as a hanging gate, and feel a natural pull toward people who carry the other. Many lasting relationships sit on exactly this kind of electromagnetic connection.
