What defines the Channel of Initiation?

It joins Gate 25, The Spirit of the Self in the G center with Gate 51, Shock in the Heart center. When both gates are active in a chart, from either side (personality or design), the whole channel defines, and with it both centers: Defined G: a fixed sense of identity, love and direction. Defined Heart: reliable willpower.

What if only one gate is active?

With only one gate active, you carry that gate as a hanging gate, and feel a natural pull toward people who carry the other. Many lasting relationships sit on exactly this kind of electromagnetic connection.

Which circuit does the Channel of Initiation belong to?
