What defines the Channel of Struggle?

It joins Gate 28, The Game Player in the Spleen center with Gate 38, The Fighter in the Root center. When both gates are active in a chart, from either side (personality or design), the whole channel defines, and with it both centers: Defined Spleen: steady intuition and an instinct for wellbeing. Defined Root: consistent pressure-handling.

What if only one gate is active?

With only one gate active, you carry that gate as a hanging gate, and feel a natural pull toward people who carry the other. Many lasting relationships sit on exactly this kind of electromagnetic connection.
