What defines the Channel of Transitoriness?

It joins Gate 35, Change in the Throat center with Gate 36, Crisis in the Solar Plexus center. When both gates are active in a chart, from either side (personality or design), the whole channel defines, and with it both centers: Defined Throat: consistent access to voice and manifestation. Defined Solar Plexus: you run on an emotional wave, and clarity comes with time.

What is it like to have the Channel of Transitoriness defined?

The Channel of Transitoriness joins Gate 36, Crisis, in your Solar Plexus to Gate 35, Change, in the Throat: emotional depth-charge wired to the voice of experience. The tradition calls its carrier the jack of all trades: this is the circuit of human experience itself, the hunger to taste, to try, to feel the new thing, and then, crucially, to say “done that” and mean it. Carriers accumulate lives the way others accumulate possessions: chapters, careers, romances, countries, each entered fully and completed.

The design runs on a wave, and its two gates name the wave’s poles: anticipation and crisis, the delicious buildup and the turbulence where the new experience actually changes you. Neither is a malfunction; the crisis gate is where feeling deepens into wisdom, and carriers who stop risking experience to avoid turbulence trade their aliveness for a smaller weather system. The real disciplines are two: enter experiences on emotional clarity, not on the peak’s intoxication, because this circuit can say yes to almost anything and mean it for a day; and harvest each chapter before hunting the next, since the point of all this tasting, the tradition insists, is not stimulation but wisdom: the one at the dinner table who has actually been there, and can tell you what it was like, and what it was worth.

Institute a harvest ritual between chapters: before the next hunger takes the wheel, sit with the one just finished, what it gave, what it cost, what you now know that the person who entered it did not, because experience undigested is just mileage, and digested, it is the wisdom this whole circuit exists to produce. Let your authority hold the door on entries: the wave’s peak can fall in love with anything for an afternoon, and the design’s regrets are almost all peak-signed. Around the people you love, narrate the appetite: a partner who knows you collect experiences rather than flee commitments can travel with you, and the richest carriers of this channel learn that depth and variety are not enemies: some of the finest chapters are written in one place, with one person, going deeper. Done that, the jack of all trades’ true title emerges: not dabbler. Connoisseur of the human experience, with the cellar to prove it.
