Kept, it compounds into the quiet fortune everyone else calls luck.
Line 3 · Service · power serves a direction
The energy works best devoted to something worth empowering. Hitch it to the right wagon and the work feels like meaning; hitch it wrong and it’s just labor. Choose the destination before the effort. When the work has gone gray, check the wagon before blaming the horse: it is usually the destination that died, not the energy. Re-aim, and the same hours turn back into meaning.
Line 4 · Security · the base that frees
Build the stable floor first: reserves, skills, ground under your feet. Security in this line isn’t timidity; it’s the launchpad. Risk taken from stability is adventure; from desperation, gambling. Build the floor and then actually leap from it; this line’s shadow is finishing the launchpad and never launching. Security was always for something. Spend a little of it on the adventure it was saving up for.
Line 5 · Arrogance · capacity isn’t superiority
When the engine is this strong it can look down on slower machines. That trap costs allies. Let the output do the talking and stay teachable; powerful and humble together is rare enough to be magnetic. Practice crediting the slower machines out loud; half of what looks like slowness is care your speed skips. The strong engine that honors other gauges ends up leading convoys instead of leaving them.
Line 6 · Humility · riches worn lightly
The mature line holds real capacity without display. Resources flow through it to where they’re needed, and the holder stays plain. That lightness is the highest form of this power. Give quietly and watch what grows unattributed: the venture seeded, the debt forgiven, the tank filled without a note. Wealth worn this lightly never makes enemies, and it turns out to be the only kind that rests.
