Half of saying yes well is saying no plainly. Vague refusals breed hope and then bitterness. The kind no is short, early, and final. Deliver it with the respect the asker deserves and none of the padding they don’t: thank you, no, and, if true, here is who might. The clean no protects your yes’s reputation.
Line 5 · One at a time · depth over portfolio
