The present moment’s truth can calcify into doctrine. What was true at ten may be false by noon; keep the verdicts dated. The now only works fresh. Re-ask your own settled questions on purpose now and then; the answer that survives re-asking is trustworthy, and the one that changed just saved you from yesterday’s certainty. Doctrine is presence that stopped checking.

Line 3 · Self-awareness · the now observed

This line watches itself in real time: what am I, this minute? That live mirror is rare equipment. Use it for course-correction, not self-attack. The mirror reports; it does not sentence. Notice the state, adjust the sail, and skip the tribunal. Self-awareness used kindly updates in seconds what self-criticism cannot move in years.

Line 4 · Application · presence with hands

Awareness of the now matures into acting in it. The right small move at the right instant outperforms the grand plan made for later. Stay light on your feet. Train the smallness of the moves: the one sentence, the single adjustment, the door opened now. Grand gestures are for planners. Your gift is the micro-act at the exact instant it is cheap.

Line 5 · Realism · the now accepted

Some moments can’t be improved, only met. This line’s strength is meeting reality without the argument. Acceptance first; then whatever movement is actually available. Meeting reality without argument is not surrender; it is the fastest route to the real options. The moment accepted whole reveals its exits; the moment argued with hides them.

Line 6 · Wisdom · presence as a way of life
